April Bowlby

April Bowlby has been an American actor and model for over 20 years. She was known as Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. Her most well-known role is for her roles as Stacy Barrett and Kandi on Two and a Half Men as well as Drop Dead Diva, a legal comedy/fantasy drama/comedy series. Her modeling career began in the early 1990s then moved on to films and television. As an extra, she first appeared on screen in the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Soon after, she was able to land the breakthrough character as Kandi on Two and a Half Men. The role she played as Stacy Barrett in the popular TV show Drop Dead Diva has earned Bowlby fame across the globe. Bowlby played Rita Farr/Elastigirl on The American online series Titans. A spin-off from the show Doom Patrol will see her reprise her role as the character. Bowlby has appeared in TV movies like Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. Her big screen debut came with the feature movie All Roads Lead Home and afterwards appeared in several other films including The Slammin Salmon and From Prada to Nada. After completing ballet classes as well as French in Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to enter the acting field. She took drama classes at Ivanachubbuck. She was offered an appearance on a major TV series (Kandi) in just three months of her Hollywood audition. Bowlby appeared in many TV shows including CSI in 2004, CSI: NY and CSI: NY in 2005. She also appeared on Freddie and Freddie in 2005, as Sydney as Sydney, and How I Met Your Mother in 2007 in the role of Meg. More recently Bowlby played the part of Natasha in All Roads Lead Home a film from 2007 about a twelve year old girl who lost her mother in an automobile accident. Bowlby will be in the 2008 comedic movie The Slammin Salmon as Mia. The actress lives in Los Angeles. Naturally red hair as well as blue eyes. The couple isn't married and she doesn't have children.
